 In class, students have the opportunity to explore a wide variety of art mediums and techniques.

 WATERCOLOR techniques will be explores, along with MIXED MEDIA/COLLAGE. Students will use a wide variety of materials and mediums to create their masterpieces! This may include watercolor, tempera, acrylics, oil colored pencils, markers and pens, crayons, textured and printed papers, and more. 

 We will be painting with ACRYLICS. We will used stretched canvas, boards, and different papers as bases. Mixing colors, proper use of brushes and knives, along with application techniques will be taught.

 We use OIL COLORED PENCILS, PASTELS, PENCIL, SHARPIE, CRAYON, ETC., to create, and to increase student’s skills.

CLAY classes are included in the rotations . Students are guided through the processes of coil, slab, roll, and pinch methods of construction, using air dry clay to create unique works of art.  We explore surface, edge, texture, and space. Using clay sculpting tools and our hands, students learn to adhere clay to clay, and decorate their art use different decorating methods.

Classes do not build on each other, so you can safely enroll your child at any point. New skills are taught as different projects are introduced, and every week is something new!
